Formerly known as Precision Shapes, our facility in Titusville, FL is AS9100-certified and ITAR-registered, and has decades of high-performance experience with some of the largest aviation, aerospace, and defense companies in the world. Focused on precision machining, we routinely work with high-temperature alloys like titanium and Inconel.

We also offer a unique production method known as continuous long-length milling (or long bar milling). This process provides cross sectional machining of long bars, holding close tolerances in intricate shapes, and offers an alternative to extruding and drawing. Bars up to 25’ in length are run through a series of custom cutting dies to produce a near-net or finished cut shape that can then be completed with CNC machining as necessary.

Titusville Machining Capabilities

Vertical CNC Milling

Our Titusville facility offers 4-axis and 3-axis vertical CNC milling for our customers’ variety of machining needs.  Our 40 and 50 taper machines provide travels as large as 78.74” (2000mm) and can hold the tightest tolerances.  Ideal for parts up to 60” with tolerances at /-0.001”.

Horizontal CNC Milling

For parts with large quantities and the tightest tolerances, our horizontal CNC milling machines provide travels up to 26” and tolerances down to /-0.0002”.

CNC Mill/Turning Machines

Our versatile mill/turning centers can turn bars up to 3” (65mm) in length with a maximum working diameter of 13.78” (350mm).  Our machines have multi-axis, sub-spindle, and live tooling capabilities, allowing for multiple operations of complicated geometries to run on a single machine.

Long-Bar Horizontal Milling

Capable of holding close tolerances in intricate shapes, long-bar milling is a specialty process unique to our Titusville location. An alternative to extruding and drawing, continuous long-length milling provides tighter tolerances, thinner sections, sharp interior and exterior corners, narrow slots, and recessed areas. By incorporating this process prior to cut-off and with additional CNC machining, continuous milling affords us options for complex machining with competitive pricing.

Inspection Equipment

Our dedicated quality inspection team utilizes both CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and optical inspection systems to ensure that our parts meet the robust quality requirements needed for the aerospace industry.
